  • 1 can Cream style corn 15 ounce, do not drain
  • 1 can Corn, drained 15 ounce
  • 2 eggs Beaten eggs or 3 egg whites
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 2.5 quart baking dish or an 8x8/9x9 pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine sour cream, drained corn, creamed corn, melted butter, and beaten eggs, then stir in cornbread mix, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar, and bake for 45-60 minutes until golden and set; let cool slightly before serving.
  4. Optional: For added spice and cheese, finely dice and mix in jalapeño, cheddar cheese, green bell pepper, and onion with the other wet ingredients.
